ERP Migration & Planning:
- Conduct data validation to ensure accuracy and completion of the migration process.
- Participate in testing activities of financial functionalities to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Provide training & support for functionalities and workflows within D365 F&O.
- Analyze & participate in existing accounting processes and recommend improvements to leverage the full capabilities of D365 F&O.
- Maintain documentation of ERP data migration validation, testing results, and training materials.
- Participate in month end, quarter end and year end closing activities such as posting journal entries for accruals, prepaid amortization and fixed assets.
- Leveraging data to conduct monthly variance analysis for expenses, income, and changes in balance sheet balances.
- Review operating vs capital expense items in accordance with our accounting policies and prepare and post necessary adjustments.
- Update and reconcile prepaid and accrual schedules regularly to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register, including additions and disposals.
- Address audit inquiries and prepare working papers to support mid-year and year-end audits.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting
- 3+ years of experience in a high volume transactional accounting role with an emphasis on reconciliations and journal entries.
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of ASPE
- D365 F&O or AX or related Dynamics experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Suite of products.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and auditors.
