MarTech and Loyalty Specialist
This position supports the digital customer experience related to loyalty and MarTech at London Drugs. This role is responsible for website, app, and owned platform development to support digital user experience, features, functionalities, content deployment and messaging across London Drugs owned platform and technology solutions. This role is critical in unlocking the features and functionalities available across D365, CMS platforms, 3rd party tech stacks, and other technologies that deliver an enhanced customer led experience for LDExtras and London Drugs owned brands and services. A focus on supporting the LDExtras loyalty program is a significant aspect of this role.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supports the development and implementation of Content Management System (CMS) templates across London Drugs owned properties, including loyalty, pharmacy and apps.
- Conducting ongoing best practices for UX and UI to reflect industry trends, opportunities, and innovation.
- Creates or conducts UX and UI related smoke screens and checks for ongoing website releases. This includes reviewing all customer facing language and end user testing and experiences across various platforms.
- Supports the delivery of loyalty program offers and communications – via email, in app and app notifications.
- Supports customer journey set up and execution of communications, including emails, through Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.
- Ongoing loading, proofing and scheduling of digital assets across London Drugs’ properties.
- Ongoing update to documentation related to wireframes, and web brand standardizations and layouts.
- Supports development and integration of London Drugs’ tech stacks; whether owned or through 3rd parties.
- Supports email execution to further advance email automation, triggers, and journeys.
- Identify industry best practices of migration of personally identifiable information (PII) and uploading of data through 1st party databases.
- Experience with existing and emerging web technologies and frameworks such as HTML5, XML, JSON, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Keep abreast of current industry technology and trends.
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining high quality and accuracy in all work.
- Liaise and update on status’ of assigned jobs including any other desktop publishing assignments.
- Experience working with industry-standard creative software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal skills when dealing with customers, staff & management.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Ability to get stakeholders and colleagues on board with designers and UI changes.
- Highly organized and able to multitask effectively and work under changing priorities.
- Isolate and solve problems.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Knowledge and understanding of email marketing journey and triggered emails. Experience with Microsoft D365 Marketing (Customer Insights) is preferred.
- Knowledge of general CRM & customer engagement best practices, including in testing and optimization.
- 3 years’ experience in related web production or graphics arts.
- Minimum 2-year post-secondary education in a related field such as an accredited Marketing Program, Desktop Publishing Program, Graphic Arts Program or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Familiarity with industry standard best practices, including CASL and GDPR.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices related to website and app development and executions to aid SEO rankings and compliance.
- A strong working knowledge of typography, web page layout and design fundamentals.
- Proficiency with HTML and CSS editing. HTML XML, JSON, CSS, and JavaScript is considered an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, or similar is considered an asset.
- Experience with app development is considered an asset.
- Must have a current portfolio of design materials or examples of past work experiences.
- Experience working on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, including understanding of, and execution of customer journeys.
- Email marketing and campaign management experience, with focus on CRM systems and customer journeys.
- Experience writing code that utilizes graphics, sounds, and video/animation.
