Overnight Regulated Pharmacy Technician
London Drugs is a proud Canadian company based out of Richmond, BC and operating 80+ stores in Western Canada. You will be responsible for assisting the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations of the Pharmacy Department. Duties will include general housekeeping duties, operating the pharmacy computer and assist in the processing of prescriptions and preparation of prescriptions. Other responsibilities will include involvement of ordering and receiving drug orders and management of the pharmacy department inventory. Overnight Regulated pharmacy technicians must have completed all required national and provincial Regulated Pharmacy Technician programs and passed the exams. Overnight Regulated Pharmacy Technicians must also be registered with the respective College of Pharmacy in the province of employment.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Registration with the College of Pharmacists (in the province of employment) is mandatory.
- Ability to work at least 8 hours per day, up to 40 hours per week. Overtime may also be required
- Good interpersonal skills when dealing with clients, staff, & management.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-starter with a high level of enthusiasm.
- Ability to relate to all levels of customers and their needs.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure in a very fast paced environment
- Ability to work as a team player and have a team approach
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience preferable.
Shifts will start on Sunday night at 9:00pm with the last shift ending on Thursday morning at 5:30am, alternating the next week with shifts starting on Monday night at 9:00pm with last shift ending on Saturday morning at 5:30am.
