Starting Salary: $22.60 per hour, plus potential for bonus based on individual performance.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Display a positive, mature, and professional leadership style.

- Train, coach, and develop staff to meet operating and succession planning goals. Give direction of assigned duties.
- Ensure ongoing and continuous performance management of staff.
- Maintain the professional image of the store and the company.
- Provide all records and/or reports required.
- Take charge of store operations in the absence of senior management, including full-service departments.
- Responsible for ensuring ongoing communication with other management and all persons reporting to them.
- Responsible for supervising and appraising performance of aisle people and stocking team in their respective area as well as the Service Specialists in all front-end duties
- Work closely with Stock Handler, Aisle staff and stocking team to ensure the Receiving area is kept neat, is efficient and productive.
- Be aware of the London Drugs product return, customer satisfaction and competitive pricing policies.
- Designated key holder responsibilities include responding to after hour emergency calls as required and this must be adhered to.
- Understand and follow policies relating to staff purchases.
- Ensure that all key control and access control policies are followed, and credentials are signed for.
- Ensure that passwords and safe combinations are not posted anywhere.

- Provide assistance, answer questions, and/or problem solve any issues with customers.
- Keep department keys secure and ensure that all key control and access control policies are followed, and credentials are signed for.
- Ensure Health and Safety standards are practiced and maintained.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of all aspects of merchandising.
- One year experience in a customer service role.
- One year experience in General Merchandise area.
- One year experience in a leadership role.
- Knowledge of desktop PCs and Windows-based operating systems.
- Must have an understanding of relevant Point of Sale technology used for the business.
- An initiative to develop supervisory skills through experience and training, as well as a willingness to accept responsibility.
- Proven merchandising and customer service skills are accented by a high degree of productivity combined with a drive to complete tasks.
- Basic leadership skills and conflict resolution skills are considered assets.
- Completion of Secondary school.
- Canadian Criminal Record Check
